Precise Production Process

The production of colored layered crystal is a complex process in which clear lead crystal of the highest quality is fused with a colored layer. It begins with the creation of a mold from beech wood, which determines the final shape of the product. At the glassworks, artisans hand-blow and shape the hot crystal. The semi-finished piece then moves to a grinding wheel, where the edges are cleaned. In the drawing room, artisans sketch the decorative lines, which are then meticulously cut by the most experienced masters in the cutting room. After polishing, which enhances the shine and depth of the design, each piece is carefully packed and prepared for shipment. The entire process is strictly manual, ensuring the uniqueness of each product and reflecting the rich tradition of Czech glassmaking.
