Precise Manufacturing Process

The production of colored layered crystal is a complex process in which the highest quality clear lead crystal is combined with a colored overlay. It begins with the creation of a mold from beech wood, which defines the final shape of the product. At the glassworks, artisans hand-blow and shape the hot crystal. The semi-finished piece then moves to a grinding wheel, where the edges are trimmed. In the design room, workers sketch the decoration lines, which are then expertly cut in the grinding shop by the most experienced masters. After polishing, which enhances the shine and depth of the decoration, each piece is carefully packed and prepared for shipment. The entire process is strictly manual, ensuring the uniqueness of each product and reflecting the rich tradition of Czech glassmaking.
