Meticulous Production Process

The production of colored layered crystal is a complex process in which clear lead crystal of the highest quality is fused with a colored layer. It begins with the creation of a mold from beechwood, which determines the final shape of the product. In the glassworks, artisans hand-blow and shape the molten crystal. The semi-finished piece then moves to a grinding wheel where the edges are cleaned. In the drawing room, workers sketch the decorative lines, which are then precisely cut by the most experienced masters in the grinding workshop. After polishing, which enhances the shine and depth of the decor, each piece is carefully packed and prepared for shipment. The entire process is exclusively manual, ensuring the uniqueness of each product and reflecting the rich tradition of Czech glass art.
