Precise Production Process

The production of colored overlay crystal is a complex process in which top-quality clear lead crystal is combined with a colored layer. It starts with the creation of a beechwood mold that defines the final shape of the product. In the glassworks, glassblowers manually blow and shape the molten crystal. The semi-finished piece then moves to a grinding wheel where the edges are cleaned. In the drawing room, workers sketch the decor lines, which are then precisely cut by the most skilled masters in the cutting room. After polishing, which enhances the shine and depth of the decor, each piece is carefully packaged and prepared for shipping. The entire process is exclusively manual, ensuring the uniqueness of each product and reflecting the rich tradition of Czech glassmaking art.
