Precise Production Process

The production of colored layered crystal is a complex process in which clear lead crystal of the highest quality is combined with a colored layer. It starts with creating a mold from beechwood that determines the final shape of the product. At the glassworks, glassmakers hand-blow and shape the molten crystal. The semi-finished product then moves to a grinding wheel, where the edges are cleaned. In the drawing studio, the decoration lines are first sketched, and then the most experienced masters precisely grind the design in the cutting shop. After polishing, which enhances the shine and depth of the decoration, each piece is carefully packed and prepared for shipment. The entire process is entirely manual, ensuring the uniqueness of each product and reflecting the rich tradition of Czech glassmaking.
