Precise Production Process

The production of colored layered crystal is a complex process in which top-quality clear lead crystal is combined with a colored overlay. It begins with creating a mold from beechwood that defines the final shape of the product. In the glassworks, artisans blow and shape the hot crystal by hand. The semi-finished product then moves to a grinding wheel, where the edges are refined. In the design room, workers pre-draw the decorative lines, which are then precisely cut by the most experienced masters in the grinding workshop. After polishing, which enhances the shine and depth of the design, each piece is carefully packed and prepared for dispatch. The entire process is entirely manual, ensuring the uniqueness of each item and reflecting the rich tradition of Czech glassmaking.
