Precise Manufacturing Process

The production of colored cased crystal is a complex process in which clear lead crystal of the highest quality is fused with a colored layer. It begins with the creation of a beechwood mold that defines the final shape of the product. In the glassworks, artisans hand-blow and shape the molten crystal. The semi-finished product is then taken to a grinding wheel where the edges are refined. In the design studio, decoration lines are sketched, which are then precisely cut by the most experienced masters in the cutting workshop. After polishing — which enhances the brilliance and depth of the design — each piece is carefully packed and prepared for shipping. The entire process is carried out entirely by hand, ensuring the uniqueness of every item and reflecting the rich tradition of Czech glassmaking.
