Precise Production Process

The production of colored layered crystal is a complex process in which clear lead crystal of the highest quality is fused with a colored layer. It begins with creating a mold from beech wood that determines the final shape of the product. In the glassworks, craftsmen hand-blow and shape the molten crystal. The semi-finished piece then goes to the grinding wheel, where the edges are cleaned. In the design workshop, lines of the pattern are pre-drawn, which are then precisely cut in the grinding room by the most experienced masters. After polishing, which enhances the shine and depth of the design, each piece is carefully packed and prepared for shipment. The entire process is exclusively manual, ensuring the uniqueness of each piece and reflecting the rich tradition of Czech glass art.
