The production of colored layered crystal is a complex process in which clear lead crystal of the highest quality is combined with a colored layer. It begins with the creation of a mold made of beechwood, which defines the final shape of the product. In the glassworks, glassmakers hand-blow and shape the molten crystal. The semi-finished piece then goes to a grinding wheel, where the edges are refined. In the design room, artisans sketch the decoration lines, which are then precisely cut by the most experienced masters in the cutting workshop. After polishing, which enhances the shine and depth of the decoration, each piece is carefully packaged and prepared for shipping. The entire process is completely handmade, ensuring the uniqueness of each piece and reflecting the rich tradition of Czech glassmaking art.
