Meticulous Production Process

The production of colored layered crystal is a complex process in which clear lead crystal of the highest quality is fused with a colored layer. It begins with crafting a mold from beechwood, which determines the final shape of the product. At the glassworks, artisans blow and shape the molten crystal by hand. The semi-finished piece is then taken to a grinding wheel, where the edges are refined. In the sketching room, workers draw the decorative lines, which are then precisely cut by the most experienced masters in the cutting workshop. After polishing, which enhances the shine and depth of the decor, each piece is carefully packaged and prepared for shipment. The entire process is strictly manual, ensuring the uniqueness of every product and reflecting the rich tradition of Czech glassmaking.
