The production of colored layered crystal is a complex process in which high-quality clear lead crystal is combined with a colored layer. It begins with the creation of a beechwood mold that determines the final shape of the product. In the glassworks, craftsmen hand-blow and shape the molten crystal. The semi-finished piece is then taken to a grinding wheel where the edges are trimmed. In the design room, artisans sketch the decorative lines, which are then precisely hand-cut by the most experienced masters. After polishing — which enhances the brilliance and depth of the design — each piece is carefully packed and prepared for shipment. The entire process is carried out by hand, ensuring the uniqueness of every product and reflecting the rich tradition of Czech glassmaking.
