Each piece is unique

The production of colored layered crystal is a complex process in which clear lead crystal of the highest quality is fused with a colored layer. It begins with the creation of a mold made from beechwood, which defines the final shape of the product. In the glassworks, artisans hand-blow and shape the molten crystal. The semi-finished product is then taken to a grinding wheel where the edges are refined. In the design workshop, the decoration lines are sketched, which are then precisely cut by the most experienced masters in the grinding workshop. After polishing — which enhances the brilliance and depth of the design — each piece is carefully packed and prepared for shipment. The entire process is done entirely by hand, ensuring the uniqueness of every product and reflecting the rich tradition of Czech glassmaking art.
