Precise production process

The production of colored layered crystal is a complex process in which high-quality clear lead crystal is fused with a colored layer. It begins with the creation of a beechwood mold that determines the final shape of the product. In the glassworks, glassmakers hand-blow and shape the hot crystal. The semi-finished product is then taken to a grinding wheel, where the edges are cleaned. In the drawing studio, workers sketch the decorative pattern lines, which are then precisely cut by the most experienced masters in the cutting workshop. After polishing, which enhances the shine and depth of the decoration, each piece is carefully packed and prepared for shipment. The entire process is purely manual, ensuring the uniqueness of each product and reflecting the rich tradition of Czech glassmaking art.
