Precise Manufacturing Process

The production of colored layered crystal is a complex process in which clear lead crystal of the highest quality is fused with a colored layer. It begins with the creation of a beechwood mold that determines the final shape of the product. In the glassworks, artisans hand-blow and shape the molten crystal. The semi-finished product then moves to a grinding wheel where the edges are cleaned. In the drawing room, workers sketch the decorative lines, which are then precisely engraved in the cutting shop by the most experienced masters. After polishing, which enhances the shine and depth of the decoration, each piece is carefully packed and prepared for shipment. The entire process is exclusively manual, ensuring the uniqueness of each piece and reflecting the rich tradition of Czech glassmaking.
