Precise Production Process

The production of colored layered crystal is a complex process in which clear lead crystal of the highest quality is combined with a colored layer. It starts with creating a mold from beechwood that determines the final shape of the product. In the glassworks, glassmakers manually blow and shape the molten crystal. The semi-finished product then moves to a grinding wheel, where the edges are trimmed. In the design room, workers sketch the decoration lines, which are then precisely cut by the most experienced masters in the grinding shop. After polishing, which enhances the shine and depth of the decoration, each piece is carefully packed and prepared for shipping. The entire process is exclusively manual, ensuring the uniqueness of every product and reflecting the rich tradition of Czech glassmaking.
