Precise Production Process

The production of colored layered crystal is a complex process where high-quality clear lead crystal is combined with a colored layer. It starts with the creation of a beech wood mold that determines the final shape of the product. In the glassworks, glassmakers manually blow and shape the hot crystal. The semi-finished piece then goes to the grinding wheel where the edges are trimmed. In the design studio, lines of the décor are pre-drawn, which are then precisely cut by the most skilled masters in the cutting workshop. After polishing, which enhances the shine and depth of the decoration, each piece is carefully packed and prepared for dispatch. The entire process is entirely manual, ensuring the uniqueness of each product and reflecting the rich tradition of Czech glassmaking.
