Precise Manufacturing Process

The production of colored layered crystal is a complex process in which top-quality clear lead crystal is fused with a colored layer. It begins with the creation of a mold from beech wood that determines the final shape of the product. In the glassworks, artisans hand-blow and shape the molten crystal. The semi-finished piece is then sent to the grinding wheel, where the edges are smoothed. In the drawing studio, decorators sketch the lines of the design, which is then precisely cut by the most experienced masters in the grinding shop. After polishing, which enhances the shine and depth of the decoration, each piece is carefully packed and prepared for shipping. The entire process is exclusively manual, ensuring the uniqueness of each product and reflecting the rich tradition of Czech glassmaking.
