Precise Manufacturing Process

The production of colored layered crystal is a complex process in which high-quality clear lead crystal is fused with a colored layer. It begins with creating a mold from beech wood, which determines the final shape of the product. At the glassworks, craftsmen manually blow and shape the hot crystal. The semi-finished product then goes to the grinding wheel, where the edges are refined. In the drawing workshop, workers sketch the lines of the decoration, which are then precisely cut by the most experienced masters in the cutting room. After polishing—which enhances the shine and depth of the design—each piece is carefully packed and prepared for shipment. The entire process is exclusively manual, ensuring the uniqueness of every piece and reflecting the rich tradition of Czech glassmaking.
