Precise Production Process

The production of colored layered crystal is a complex process in which high-quality clear lead crystal is combined with a colored layer. It begins with creating a mold from beech wood, which determines the final shape of the product. In the glassworks, glassmakers hand-blow and shape the molten crystal. The semi-finished piece is then taken to the grinding wheel, where the edges are cleaned. In the drawing room, workers sketch the decoration lines, which are then precisely ground by the most experienced masters. After polishing, which enhances the shine and depth of the decoration, each piece is carefully packaged and prepared for shipment. The entire process is done exclusively by hand, ensuring the uniqueness of each product and reflecting the rich tradition of Czech glassmaking.
