Precise Manufacturing Process

The production of colored layered crystal is a complex process in which clear lead crystal of the highest quality is fused with a colored layer. It begins with the creation of a beechwood mold that determines the final shape of the product. In the glassworks, craftsmen hand-blow and shape the molten crystal. The semi-finished piece is then taken to a grinding wheel where the edges are cleaned. In the drawing workshop, workers sketch the decoration lines, which are then expertly cut by the most skilled masters in the grinding shop. After polishing, which enhances the shine and depth of the decor, each piece is carefully packed and prepared for shipment. The entire process is strictly manual, ensuring the uniqueness of each product and reflecting the rich tradition of Czech glassmaking.
