Precise Production Process

The production of colored layered crystal is a complex process in which top-quality clear lead crystal is combined with a colored layer. It starts with creating a mold from beech wood that determines the final shape of the product. In the glassworks, glassmakers manually blow and shape the hot crystal. The semi-finished piece then goes to a grinding wheel, where the edges are refined. In the drawing room, workers sketch the decoration lines, which are then precisely cut by the most skilled masters in the cutting workshop. After polishing, which enhances the shine and depth of the decoration, each piece is carefully packed and prepared for dispatch. The entire process is exclusively manual, ensuring the uniqueness of each product and reflecting the rich tradition of Czech glassmaking.
