Precise Production Process

The production of colored layered crystal is a complex process in which top-quality clear lead crystal is combined with a colored layer. It begins with the creation of a beechwood mold that defines the final shape of the product. In the glassworks, craftsmen manually blow and shape the hot crystal. The semi-finished product is then moved to a grinding wheel to refine the edges. In the sketching room, the decoration lines are pre-drawn, which are then precisely ground by the most experienced masters in the grinding room. After polishing, which enhances the gloss and depth of the decoration, each piece is carefully packed and prepared for shipment. The entire process is exclusively manual, ensuring the uniqueness of each piece and reflecting the rich tradition of Czech glassmaking.
